Kingsford, NSW has a very diverse demographic from various generational waves from different parts of the world. The design was driven by a thorough exploration of the various functions required to accommodate a hotel, community centre and social housing. The primary objective was to integrate these programs, such as the hotel kitchen and restaurant, with the community centre to establish a symbiotic relationship with the refugees residing in the social housing.
